As someone who has never liked milk, I've been making a lot of smoothies to get myself some more calcium, and to add more fruit to my diet. This recipe is definitely a base, I am always mixing up the fruit I use, with both a combo of fresh fruit from the local market and frozen fruit that I pick up at Trader Joe's. I like using frozen fruit to help thicken up the smoothie.
Not only did I enjoy this smoothie, but it was a hit with Mr. KMW...while he is not always down with smoothies for breakfast...he wasn't letting any last drop of this one go to waste.
